About Me

I’m Paul Hadley  (@hadleypaul) and I’m a freelance videographer, broadcaster, project manager and community engagement specialist, using Alternative Media as a means of delivery.

quick payday loans with small commissions

This blog (for now) is a journal of how I learn, the experiences I go through to get the end results, and what I have to do to get there.
Part of this process was recently about me studying for my Masters Degree in Social Media at Birmingham City University (just click the #masocialmedia category tag to your left to open up all posts about this).

Along with contacts and people I work with,  I can provide you with very flexible, cost-effective video, live streaming, podcasting, multi-media, creative design solutions that will give you the communication solution you are looking for.

I’ve worked alongside individuals, community groups and blue chip companies and can easily adapt to your working practices while making myself an invaluable member of the team for the duration that we work together.

My recent achievements include:
Producer, Beyond 2010 International Conference (Digital Birmingham)
Producer, GovDelivery: “Get the Word Out
Nominated for Royal Television Society Award (Factual)- the “Photographer or Terrorist” Debate, June 2010
Nominated for The Guardian Student New Media Award, 2010
International Event Communications Director for CivicoLive at Personal Democracy Forum Conference, Barcelona 2009
Web and New Media Coordinator, Live Event: Hello Digital, 2009
Nominated for Birmingham Power 50, 2009 (36)
Winner: Midlands Media- Digital Innovation Award, 2009
Digital Britain Final Report: Communications and Broadcast Consultant for Birmingham CC, 2009.
Editor, Sandwell Arts in Health Strategy, 2008.
Founder and Managing Editor, Rhubarb Radio

I have previously delivered communications strategy development and work programmes for Empire Films, Metro Video, Blitz Communications, Gearhouse PLC, BBC, Dept. of Children, Schools and Families, Birmingham City Council, Advantage West Midlands, France Telecom (Orange), Commonwealth Office, MoD, Personal Democracy Forum (USA & Europe) and The Home Office.

I’m based in Stratford-upon-Avon and can travel anywhere. The people I work with are highly knowledgeable and respected in their craft. All are willing to share their knowledge and skills when we pull together on a project.

Whether you need a project manager, content designer and developer, community engagement specialist, a blogger for a social media marketing campaign, videographer, editor, photographer or an original thinker fluent in New Media and social networking, please get in touch and let’s talk about your project.

In addition to the experiences gained and skills I’ve developed over the years, I also bring a pleasant personality to the projects I work on, something you don’t always get when working with communication agencies.

Project and Communications Management, Radio, Blogging, Video, Podcasting, Creative Design or anything else involving Web 2.0 and New Media… these are all things my team and I have a great deal of experience in, and I’m more than happy to help if I can.

Please call 07920 273476 for an informal chat about your project or email me at paulhadley1@gmail.com
